march 2008

new year, new year...

new sea signings, avenging force recorded their debut album which is set for release on the 14th april on cd, vinyl and download. it's loud. they will be performing all over the place march/april time - keep checking the live page or their myspace for dates and a taster of their album

red trees recorded their magnificent 6 track ep which will be available from the shop from february onwards - listen to some of the tracks here

wolf people played with damo suzuki, candi payne and recorded their second 7" (cotton strands & storm cloud) which is available with lovely artwork via battered ornaments. listen to some of the tracks here

kristian (woman) had the enviable pleasure of supporting iggy & the stooges at the royal festival hall with scout niblett. guy (woman) spent some downtime wisely and formed yet another band, broken arm who are currently starting to venture into the live forum.

we still get queries about ambulance's track, 'i am not zen' because of this beautiful youtube hit:

stink taps has finally (about 5 years in the planning, writing and recording) completed his 'moon-spinners dreams' which will be available in the shop from march onwards. this is a new path he's heading down with his piano and soul. I feel priviledged to have heard it in advance.

there's tonnes of stuff we shall add to update this website over the coming weeks - i just need to get rid of my christmas tree first.
