wolf people are jack sharp, tom watt, gabriel lloret and joe hollick. they are based in bedford and london.
they play psychedelic swamp-pop-funk.

in summer 2005 jack started recording his songs onto a 1960’s grundig tk144 tape machine that his grandfather used to use to record audio letters on. it no longer rewinds so has to be spun back manually. half the reels are too big so jack has to stand with the reel on a pencil while it winds on.

the songs were put up on the internet in spring 2006. a limited five track ep is available now through sea records in the lifeboat series. a 7” single will be available late summer on a label close to sea’s heart.

wolf people will be playing live shows from june 2006.
